Mental Health Crisis Helpline
Everyone experiences a crisis in their own way. But it is important that if you feel at breaking point, unable to cope or keep yourself safe, that you get help as soon as possible.
An alternative to our helpline:
Surrey Mental Health Crisis Helpline
The helpline is available 365 days a year, 24 hours a day.
In times of distress please call their mental health crisis helpline on 0800 915 4644
People with speech or hearing difficulties can access the service by:
- Dialling us through the Next Generation Text Service App or Textphone: 18001 0800 915 4644
More information at www.ngts.org.uk
- Sending an SMS text to 07717 989 024.
If the line is engaged your call will be diverted to an answerphone which will enable you to leave your contact details and someone will call you back within 30 minutes.
During normal office hours the phone will be answered by staff at our Margaret Laurie House mental health rehabilitation service in Reigate. Your call will then be directed to the most relevant community mental health team to provide support and undertake a crisis screening assessment.
