Mental Health Crisis Helpline

Everyone experiences a crisis in their own way. But it is important that if you feel at breaking point, unable to cope or keep yourself safe, that you get help as soon as possible.

An alternative to our helpline:

Surrey and North East Hampshire Mental Health Crisis Helpline

The helpline is available 365 days a year, 5pm-9am Mon-Fri, 24hrs weekends and bank holidays.
In times of distress please call their mental health crisis helpline on
0300 456 8342

There is an SMS texting facility – solely for people who are deaf or hard of hearing 07717 989 024
or a Text Relay Service 18001 0300 456 8342

If the line is engaged your call will be diverted to an answerphone which will enable you to leave your contact details and someone will call you back within 30 minutes.

During normal office hours the phone will be answered by staff at our Margaret Laurie House mental health rehabilitation service in Reigate. Your call will then be directed to the most relevant community mental health team to provide support and undertake a crisis screening assessment.
