Surrey Drug and Alcohol Care Ltd has a dedicated Schools and Community Relations Manager, who has responsibility for our outreach programme to schools and the wider community. Alan Earwaker is a qualified drugs educator with Hope UK and is trained to teach PSHCE lessons in schools and colleges. He talks to pupils and teachers about the effects of drugs and alcohol, including sessions with young people who may well see drug and alcohol problems in adult members of their family and friends. He also gives talks to children, young people, youth clubs, youth workers, adults, voluntary and statutory agencies about the work of SDAC.
As a registered charity, Surrey Drug & Alcohol Care Ltd services are free of charge, and we do not invoice you for the time we give. However, in order for us to continue providing this service to schools, we are reliant on donations so that we can continue to provide personal, social and healthcare talks to schools and the wider community. Donations are always very welcome. We are able to provide a receipt for your donation if required.
